After watching the first video I also wanted to try it.
I searched on google images a few pictures of girls with long straight hair. 
I used Bella Thorne and Debby Ryan.
I don't have drawing tablet and I'm not an experienced graphicmaker :p
But it looks ok, I think, I hope.
I used GIMP

This is also a great video!
But too difficult for me, because I can not make smooth lines with a computer mouse
